Catering Services are moving away from Joinos as the method of parents paying for school lunches. From Monday 10th May 2021 they will be moving to Parentpay.
North Tyneside Council’s school meals team will be contacting you soon by e-mail to ask you to set up a new ParentPay account for school meals when the JOINOS system is no longer live. This will be for children in Reception to Year 6, children in Nursery will continue to pay for school lunches via the School Gateway app.
For your activation email, please check all e-mail addresses that you have provided to your child’s school together with your junk mail folder.
All parents need to activate their ParentPay account even if your child is entitled to free school meals or brings a packed lunch, as the system will be used to communicate updates about your school meals service, as well as a payment system.
ParentPay is managed by North Tyneside Council Catering Services, not school. Please ignore any advice on the ParentPay website to contact your child’s school about school meal payments. The correct email address to contact us is firstname.lastname@example.org Please include your child’s name and school in the email.
