Christmas at KEPS 2022!

Although some may think it’s too early to start thinking about Christmas, we want to share our plans with you to make the season merry! Please read below to see what we have in store to get our children, staff and parents in the holiday spirit. Christmas Dinner Christmas Dinner Day will be on Wednesday 21st December. Roast dinner with all the trimmings! Please pay via Caterlink Online Payment System. (Not available if your child is in Nursery for AM or PM only sessions.) Christmas Jumper Day Children are invited to come into school on Wednesday 21st December in their Christmas Jumper and non uniform. What better way to dress for Christmas Dinner? Christmas Jumper Swap We will be hosting a Christmas Jumper Swap on Tuesday 6th December. If you would like to donate a pre-loved jumper, please drop this off in the school gym at drop off (8.45am-9.15am). You can pick up any items you require at pick up time in the gym (3.00pm-3.30pm). Christmas Performances Nursery Christmas Songs - Parents are invited to come and listen to our Nursery Songs on Friday 16th December. The morning Nursery performance will begin at 10.00am. The afternoon Nursery performance will begin at 1.45pm. Performances will be held in the Early Years Hall. Entrance via the Year 1 door (ramp in KS1 yard). Reception-Year 1 Christmas Production - Reception parents are invited to come and see the production on Wednesday 14th December. Year 1 parents are invited to come and see the production on Thursday 15th December. Both productions start at 2.00pm. Performances will be held in the gym. Entrance via the community room doors (KS1 yard). Year 2-Year 3 Christmas Songs - Year 2 parents are invited to come and listen to our Year 2-3 Songs on Monday 12th December. Year 3 parents are invited to come and listen to our Year 2-3 Songs on Tuesday 13th December. Songs will begin at 2.30pm. Performances will be held in the gym. Entrance via the community room doors (KS1 yard). Year 4-Year 6 Christmas Service - The Christmas Services will be held at St Augustin’s Church in North Shields. Parents of children in 4O, 4I and 5T are invited to attend on Friday 9th December. Parents of children in 5D, 6L and 6F are invited to attend on Friday 16th December. Both services start at 9.30am. Christmas Parties The end of the Autumn term is Christmas party time for all our children! Children can come to school in non-uniform/party clothes on the day of their party; though we ask that they are dressed suitably for the cold December weather. Parties take place during the school day after lunch. Small refreshments will be provided and dietary requirements will be catered for. Party dates are as follows: Nursery (AM and PM) - Monday 19th December Reception - Tuesday 20th December Year 1 - Thursday 22nd December Year 2 - Friday 16th December Year 3 - Monday 19th December Year 4 - Tuesday 20th December Year 5 - Wednesday 21st December Year 6 - Thursday 22nd December
