Y6 Coping With Grief
Dear parent / carers
As part of the Year 6 RSE curriculum, the children learn about the many changes that occur in life. One of the objectives in the curriculum is discussing the feelings that can occur as a result of death and the strategies that can help an individual to cope with grief.
On Tuesday 1st November Year 6 will be taking part in an RSE lesson focusing on the topic “coping with grief”. To support this lesson we will read children’s author Michael Rosen’s book ‘Sad’ in which he talks about his own experience of loss and grief.
