Year 4 Residential Visit March 2027
Dear parents / carers
As you know, Year 4 will have the opportunity to take part in a residential visit to Weardale Activity Centre next March! We very much hope that all children who want to will take up this amazing opportunity.
Weardale Adventure Centre offers fun and learning in an area of outstanding natural beauty in County Durham. The centre caters for adults, schools and groups and have an experienced and qualified team to ensure guests create memories that last for a lifetime, in a safe and friendly environment. The visit is during the school week and children will be away on the visit for three days and two nights from Monday 22nd March to Wednesday 24th March 2027.
The children are accompanied by our own school staff on the visit.
Children who choose not to take up this opportunity can remain in school. However, there are enough places to accommodate all children who wish to go.
The full cost of this trip is £255.70 per child. Payment can be made in installments using School Gateway Payments ‘Year 4 Weardale 2027’ according to the following payment schedule:

Should you wish to discuss any payment difficulties, or request a different payment plan, then please contact the office to talk to Miss Byrne in confidence.
Please be aware that the deposit for this trip is non-refundable. Should you need to cancel your child’s place for any reason (e.g. change of mind, ill health), your deposit will not be refunded to you.
If you would like your child to attend the trip to Weardale, please complete the online form AT THIS LINK by 30th September and pay your deposit via Gateway. It is important that you sign up by the deadline as we will be unable to accommodate late additions to the trip.
