Caterlink Next Steps March 2022

Dear parents / carers

As you know, Caterlink are taking the reins as our new catering provider of school meals from April 2022.  Click here to see a welcome brochure from Caterlink.

Meal offer during transition period

From Friday 1st April to Friday 8th April, a reduced cold menu will be served.  This is due to potential equipment and staffing issues, during the handover / transition period from NTC to Caterlink.  For these six days, the only meal option in school will be a choice of sandwiches with carrot sticks, fresh fruit and a tray bake or biscuit.  As food will be prepared offsite and to comply with Natasha’s Law, Caterlink have asked that any parents order a meal in advance if needed.

If you require a school lunch for your child during the transition period above, you must COMPLETE THIS FORM by Friday 11th March.  If you do not complete the form, we will be unable to provide a meal for your child and you will need to provide a packed lunch.

Caterlink are passionate about using fresh ingredients from local and regional suppliers. They will be offering our school freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals at Silver Food for Life Standard after the East holidays.

Food allergens and intolerances

If your child has a food allergen or intolerance, you must COMPLETE THIS FORM by Friday 11th March.

You need to complete this form even if you have already informed school or NTC Catering Services about your child’s allergen / intolerance.  This form has been sent by Caterlink so that they can gather appropriate allergen information in line with their own procedures.

The form does not include lifestyle and religious choices.  The information school already has on record will be shared with Caterlink.

Thank you for your understanding as we work through this period of transition.  We are very much looking forward to the full service being up and running after the Easter holidays.

Thank you

Miss Parnaby
