Update on class teacher arrangement for current Y3M for September

Some of you may be aware that Miss Osueke has a chronic health condition.  She is happy for me to share this for those of you who don’t.  How she copes and manages is inspirational.  COVID resulted in Miss Osueke needing to shield for many months.  All children are returning to site in September and the impact of COVID on the next school year and the challenges ahead are uncertain for us all.

By September, current Year 3 children will have been offsite for more than 5 months, along with many children.  Something none of us would ever expected and certainly not wanted.  Therefore mindful of this and incase Miss Osueke needs to shield etc in the future, Mrs Imray will now be teaching current Y3M for September.

Mrs Imray usually teaches Science in Year 2 and Year 6.  As Miss Osueke is a Primary Science Teacher and our Science Leader, she will be extremely well placed to take on this role in September!  Then in the mornings Miss Osueke will be used to support children to catch up, as a result of COVID.  Intially she will be based in Y4 in the mornings.

Apolgies for the late change in class teacher for Year 3M.  However, as there are so many uncertainties movng forward, espcially with winter approaching, this seems to be a wise decision for Y3M, Year 4 as a whole next year and also for Miss Osueke.

Mrs Imray is excited to meet her new class and she knows the year group well already.  Mrs Bower will work in Y4I two afternoons a week.

I hope you understand the reasons for the change.
