Show Racism The Red Card – Non-uniform, wear red Friday 22nd October 2021

Dear parent /carer

‘Show Racism the Red Card’ is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity.  They work throughout the UK delivering anti-racism workshops to more than 50,000 people every year, while also providing specialist training to teachers.  Every penny they receive makes a real difference to a young person’s life and will enable their campaign to work with more young people and adults throughout the UK.

Their goal is to reach out to every young person in the UK to Show Racism the Red Card!  But to do this, they need our support.  We would like all children to come into school on Friday 22nd October 2022 wearing non-uniform and something red.  We are asking for a £1 contribution from our families which will be donated to the charity.

If your child has been asked to come into school in a PE Kit for a sporting event (Years 3 & 4 girls) on this day, please come to school in the PE Kit.

If you would like to help us raise funds for Show Racism the Red Card, please send the money into school with your child.  Parents should not bring money directly into the office.

Thank you
