S&F Finance Overview Nov 21
Dear parent / carer
The Staffing and Finance (S&F) Committee met on 19th November virtually. During the meeting the following points were discussed:
- School is currently reviewing the school meal provider. Look out for some exciting future developments.
- King Edward Primary are currently trialing a new initiative in school, the tutoring programme. If successful the programme will be rolled out across school to offer support to identified pupils who would benefit.
- Discussion was held around Sport Funding and the schools development plan was shared. The funding will be used to encourage active playtimes, this is in addition to the strong sports offer already in place.
- Committee members received a budget update.
- This year there will be a focus on high quality CPD for all staff. The training will in turn allow staff to fully support all pupils as part of a Covid recovery plan.
