Y2 and Y3 staffing update
Dear parents and carers,
I am writing to let you know about a change of class teachers for Y2R and Y3R.
Back in July, when I made the decision about class teachers for September, I did not know about some happy news! Miss Reynolds is having a baby! She will be leaving Y2R at Christmas.
As Miss Douthwaite does not have experience of KS1 SAT’s, Mr Routledge will provide support by teaching Y2R from January.
From January Y3R will be taught by Miss Gilhespie. The children have already met Miss Gilhespie as she taught them for a week at the start of term when Mr Routledge had COVID. I am confident Miss Tong and Miss Gilhespie will make a fabulous Year 3 teaching team.
We all wish Miss Reynolds lots of happiness welcoming her first baby in 2022! I hope that you understand the reasoning in the change in staffing for Y2 and Y3 as a result.
