At King Edward Primary School, we place reading and books at the absolute centre of our curriculum and recognise that being able to read well is an essential life skill for children, whatever their background.

We passionately believe that every child can learn to read with the right teaching and support.  We work with families to ensure the culture of reading that the school has developed extends into the home.

As a result this is what we do at King Edward Primary School to ensure that every child leaves as a reader and loves to read.
