Information for Year 4 Parents/Carers regarding Multiplication Tables Check
To parents / carers,
During 5th June- 16th June children in Year 4 across the country will be participating in the Multiplication Tables Check. The purpose of the check is to determine whether your child can fluently recall their times tables up to 12 x 12, which is essential for future success in mathematics and to help your child’s teacher identify if your child may need additional support.
The children have been working very hard on their times tables in school and thank you for your support at home. We ask that you continue to encourage your child to revise their times tables at home using Times Table Rock Stars and their Times Table homework book.
