Year 5 – Puberty Talk

Dear Parent/ Carer

On Monday 15th May, as part of our Science Curriculum the children will be taking part in a puberty lesson. This will cover the changes that occur in the body. Personal Hygiene will be discussed in a whole class setting.  Mr Denton will discuss changes to the male body separately to Miss Tong and Miss Dove discussing menstruation with the girls.

If you would like to discuss this prior to the lesson with your children you have the opportunity to.
