Welcome to Out of School Club

About OOSC

We are dedicated to providing a quality service to parents/carer and children alike.  It is our aim that the Out of School Club (OOSC) is not only a reliable and convenient childcare service for parents/carers, but also an enjoying and fulfilling out of school experience for the children.

It is our intention that children and their individual needs are at the core of what we do. We believe that all children have the right to access quality play opportunities. We seek to create a ‘home from home’ experience in which the children are encouraged to develop socially, physically, intellectually, creatively, emotionally and spiritually through a variety planned activities and play opportunities.

All children from Nursery to Year 6 are welcome to attend.

Please note: due to Covid 19 some aspects of our club's organisation may be different to usual.

OOSC Update – February 2021

Dear parent/carer    Myself and the Governors of the Staffing and Finance committee feel that it is important that parents have some context of OOSC’s current financial position.     As many of you are probably already aware, our OOSC is a separate organisation within school with its own discrete budget.  Much like a private business,…

February Half Term

Dear parent / carer School is closed as usual to all children for February half term (Mon 15th-Fri 19th February).  School will not be open for Critical Worker Childcare. If you do require childcare, our OOSC is open from 7.30am-5.30pm at a rate of £27.50 per day.  You can drop off and collect your child…

Registration

If your child is not a pupil at King Edward Primary School, your child can only attend the club once they have been registered. Registration forms contain details of your child, emergency contact/safe collection information and various parental consent forms.  Please contact OOSC staff for a registration form.

Our OOSC is incredibly popular and has limited spaces available linked to space and staffing ratios.  We operate on a ‘first come first served basis’. The ultimate decision regarding allocation of spaces rests with the Headteacher.
