Welcome to Out of School Club

About OOSC

We are dedicated to providing a quality service to parents/carer and children alike.  It is our aim that the Out of School Club (OOSC) is not only a reliable and convenient childcare service for parents/carers, but also an enjoying and fulfilling out of school experience for the children.

It is our intention that children and their individual needs are at the core of what we do. We believe that all children have the right to access quality play opportunities. We seek to create a ‘home from home’ experience in which the children are encouraged to develop socially, physically, intellectually, creatively, emotionally and spiritually through a variety planned activities and play opportunities.

The club is open to children from Nursery to Year 6.

Please note: If your child has more complex SEND, then please contact the Headteacher in the first instance.  This will be to disucss whether or not the OOSC setting and staffing ratios will be suitable and appropriate to enable us to meet your child's needs safely.

Registration

If your child is not a pupil at King Edward Primary School, your child can only attend the club once they have been registered. Registration forms contain details of your child, emergency contact/safe collection information and various parental consent forms.  Please contact OOSC staff for a registration form.

Our OOSC is incredibly popular and has limited spaces available linked to space and staffing ratios.  We operate on a ‘first come first served basis’. The ultimate decision regarding allocation of spaces rests with the Headteacher.
