Update regarding school lunch service
Dear parents / carers
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are still experiencing an issue with our school kitchen. As a temporary measure, food will be cooked off site by our cook and transported to school for service. Unfortunately, this means we are still not able to offer the full menu usually available. Tomorrow, the main meal will be curry with rice and vegetables. There will be no hot vegetarian option and no jacket potatoes but sandwiches will be available along with the usual salad bar. Dessert will be pancakes. Alternatively, you can send your child to school with a packed lunch.
North Tyneside Council are already taking steps to repair the faulty equipment. We will keep you informed with what food we are able to offer and notify you when full lunch service resumes.
