Uniform Reminder
Dear parent / carer
We have noticed a small number of children have been coming to school in incorrect uniform. Can we please remind you that all children should be in the correct school uniform each day as detailed below.
PE uniform
Children should come to school in their full school PE kit on PE days. This consists of navy blue jogging bottoms or royal blue shorts, pale blue t-shirt and trainers or sand shoes. School jumpers may be worn over t-shirts. Children should not wear football skins / leggings as these are not school uniform. Jumpers and/or joggers can be worn in colder weather.
School uniform
School uniform for non-PE days consists of:
- Grey skirt, pinafore, trousers / shorts, tights
- Royal blue school cardigan or sweatshirt
- Pale blue polo shirt
- Checked blue dress (summer optional)
- Black shoes
Children should not wear leggings. Hoodies are also not school uniform.
Nursery uniform is as above except children wear a red school sweatshirt / cardigan / polo shirt / checked dress.
Jewellery
Children should not wear any jewellery to school – this includes plastic or play jewellery such as bracelets. One pair of small stud earrings may be worn if ears are pierced. However, children must be able to take their earrings out themselves to take part in PE or not wear earrings on PE days. It is not acceptable for children to wear an Elastoplast over their ears during PE for Health and Safety reasons.
All badged items of uniform are available to buy at the school office every Monday from 3.30pm – 5.00pm. For more information, see the uniform section of our school website.
Thank you
