Social Media Update September 2022

Dear parents / carers

 

As we enter the new school year, we have decided to make some changes to how we share information with parents on social media.

 

With immediate effect, we will no longer use our closed Facebook page.  The page will be deleted in the near future.  Instead, we will be expanding our use of our current, public Twitter page.  Twitter will be the place to keep up to date with news posts from our website as well as sharing activities that take place in school.  If you don’t already, please follow us now!

 

Our Twitter username is @KEdwardprimary 

 

The benefits of using Twitter are:

• Automatic sharing of news posts directly from our website
• Promoting activities and learning that takes place on a day to day basis
• Engaging with schools locally, nationally and globally
• Creating links with businesses, organisations and charities
• Connecting with a wider range of stakeholders
