Pre-loved Outdoor Clothing Swap
Dear parent / carer
As you may know, children in Y4 and Y6 have the opportunity to take part in a residential visit this year to an outdoor activity centre. Due to the rising costs of living and thinking of the eco / environmental benefits of recycling and reusing clothing, we are proposing to hold an after school pre-loved swap / sales event for outdoor clothing. This will take place in January (if we have enough items to make it worthwhile); dates and further information will follow in December.
We are looking for: hiking/walking boots and shoes, trainers, thick socks, waterproof jackets and trousers, fleeces, hats, hoodies, t-shirts, joggers, thick leggings, wellington boots, large towels.
If you have any outdoor clothing that your child has outgrown and you wish to donate, please get in touch with myself at nursery@kingedward.org or drop off your items at the KEEP or the main school office. If you wish to sell your pre-loved items, we can set up a table for you to come and sell them yourself on the day of the event. Please let me know in advance if you wish to sell your items and what they are by the 1st December.
