Pupil voice and leadership
Children across school have a range of opportunities during their time with us to take on positions of responsibilty or to represent their friends and peers in formal roles.
Our School Council Members meet to discuss various items they would like to influence around the school and to help gather and share pupil views.
We have Sport Leaders who work closely with our Specialist Sport Teacher Mrs Cunningham. They have an opportunity to influence some decisions and some sport funding spending.
Eco councillors have a piviotal role in ensuring that our children and school are aware of the importance of taking care of our planet, through working closely with Mrs Imray our Eco Leader. They have the chance to take and consider meter readers with our site manager, encourage recyling, undertake visits to parks in the local area to keep them clean and encourage the whole school to walk to school rather than using cars, resulting in emissions in the streets around school.
Mindfulness Leaders support the well-being of the whole school community, including that of staff as well as our children. They have a key role alongside that of our Mindfulness Leader and Care Guidance and Support Leader.
