A brand new North Tyneside Primary Multi Academy Trust (MAT)

We have been exploring the possibility of creating a new MAT.  Central to our vision is that each school will maintain its own unique charachter whilst also gaining a number of benefits that being part of a MAT will bring.

We are pleased to introduce you to our school and Nursery

At King Edward Primary School we work together to provide a safe, caring community and an exciting and creative learning environment where children are encouraged to think independently, where their views are valued and they are challenged to achieve their full potential.

Are you interested in enrolling your child at our school?

We know that many parents like to visit our school before their child starts Nursery or Reception.  We hold an open evenings at various points across the year from 5.00pm-5.30pm.  These are drop in sessions where prospective parents and children can visit our school to look around the Nursery or Reception areas and chat to staff.

If you are interested in attending one of our open evenings, please contact the school office on 0191 8141455 or info@kingedward.org to find out when our next Open Evening will be held.

We are also pleased to share virtual tours of our Nursery and Reception.  The tours show you around our Early Years spaces and give you a flavour of the learning that takes place in this wonderful part of school.

Click the links below to take the tours and find out how to apply for a place at our school.

We are proud that our children do so well with their learning and make great progress; as a result of positive attitudes to learning, fantastic behaviour and high quality teaching and learning.

Paper copies of all documents seen on our website are available from the office on request

We use School Gateway for all communications. Please download the App to stay up to date with all school news and events!

We are a paperless school and use parents’ mobile numbers to send electronic communications.  This is instead of sending paper letters.  As our chosen method of communication, this is an essential service and at least one parent per family must provide a mobile number for text or Gateway communications.
