Information for parents/carers who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals

As you will remember the COVID Winter Grant was given to all families who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals to purchase food during the school holidays.  The £60 payment for this financial year covered Christmas, February half term and the first week of Easter holidays.  We have now been informed by the Local Authority that additional funds have been given to provide families in receipt of free school meals an extra £15 to cover the second week of the Easter holidays.

This means if you are in receipt of benefit related free school meals for your child you will receive an additional £15 per child.  This will be sent to you via email from Edenred on Tuesday 23rd March 2021.  The ecode can be used to redeem a supermarket gift card of your choice to purchase food items for your child’s lunches.
