Free after school clubs!

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope this information finds you well.  We are extremely proud of our diverse and inclusive school community, and we are committed to providing the best opportunities for our children to thrive.

We want to share some important information about our school’s changing demographic. Over the past few years, we have seen an increase in the number of children and families joining us from the most deprived socio-economic households. We are also in the middle of a cost of living crisis.  We now have over 100 children from less wealthy households, making up a significant part of our school community.

In response to this, and in line with our commitment to support our children to access a range of opportunities, we are excited to announce that we will be trialling a range of free after-school clubs, during the spring and summer terms. These clubs will provide additional opportunities for children to develop new skills, build friendships, and participate in activities they may not otherwise have access to.

We believe these clubs will benefit our pupils, promoting inclusion and enhancing the sense of community within our school. More details about the clubs, including the activities on offer and how to sign up, will be shared with you shortly.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a nurturing and welcoming environment for all of our children. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Best wishes

Kate Byrne
