Dog Fouling Outside School Grounds
Unfortunately, since our return to school this term we have had a small number of parents highlighting that there is an issue with some dog fouling on the footpaths around our school, which is causing families to have to avoid it when bringing children to and from school.
We understand that this may very well have nothing to do with our school community and is more likely to be caused by irresponsible dog owners earlier on in the morning before school starts. I have asked our Site Manager to do extra daily morning and afternoon checks and to clear any dog fouling around the school perimeter if it is spotted.
To further help with this problem we are going to ask our children to design some posters in the next couple of weeks, which we will display around the school footpaths. We hope our children can try and educate these lazy dog owners to be more responsible and to pick up after their pets.
