Children in Need – Friday 16th November 2018

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you may already know, Monday 12th
November is the start of this year’s
BBC Children in Need Appeal Week. We are excited to be joining in with others
around the UK to participate in fundraising for this good cause.

These fundraising events will help your
children learn about the lives of disadvantaged children across the whole of
the UK and why their support matters, while developing skills like
communication, teamwork and decision-making.

We will be hosting a non-uniform day
fundraising event for Children in Need on
Friday 16th November where we would love the children to get involved by also bringing
in a £1 donation towards this great cause. We are
asking the children to come to school in non-uniform, preferably something
spotty, to support the ‘Spotacular’ theme of Children in Need this year.

We will also be doing a ‘Pudsey Colouring Competition’ if children
would like to get involved. These will be sent home with the children should
they wish to enter. There will be one winner from each year group from Nursery
to Year 6. Entries will need to be handed to the child’s class teacher by
Thursday 15
th November. Winners will be announced in assembly on
Friday 16
th November.

You can help us make a memorable event that
raises as much money as possible
by supporting the fundraising activity in our school. Let’s make a big difference
to the lives of children in the UK.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours faithfully,

 Miss Reynolds
