Car-Free Day – Friday 7th February 2020
We have been working with Geoff from Go Smarter, trying to keep the school clear of cars to reduce pollution and keep the children safe. We are hoping to have children coming to school by car less often, and coming by walking, cycling, scooting or skateboarding. These are better because they give us exercise, keep us healthy, save fuel, and are better for the environment.
Our Car-Free Day will be on Friday 7th February 2020. Please could you try not to bring the car in that day? If you need to bring the car please could you park away from the school and walk the rest of the way?
Doctor Bike will coming on the day who will fix (minor problems) children’s bikes, so if you have a bike lying in the shed or garage, bring it along. During the Car Free Day we will also be doing some fun activities in schools.
