Book Week at King Edward Primary School (4th – 8th March 2024) – Sponsored Read
Dear parents and carers,
As part of Book Week at King Edward (4th-8th March), we are running our annual sponsored read and listen. On Friday our child will bring home a letter, sponsor form and reading / listening log on which to record their daily reading and/or listening activity.
In school we are organising a range of reading activities for your child, please support them in both reading to you at home and listening to stories read by you.
This is a sponsored event and we are raising much-needed funds for reading books and resources in school. Can I please encourage you, if at all possible, to raise sponsor money from close family and friends only.
Every penny is greatly appreciated and will go towards improving the literacy skills and experiences of all children at our school.
