North Tyneside Council – Children’s Swimming Lessons
Your child can enjoy socialising with other children, be more active and learn an essential life skill while learning to swim.
You can register your interest in level 1 swimming lessons for your child once they are 5 years old (your child must also be at least 90cm tall). Level 1 is the entry level for lessons. It helps build water confidence while introducing water safety and the basic skills needed to build swimming ability. If your child has previous swimming experience they can join the programme at one of the other stages too.

The deadline to register for next cohort of intake for swimming lessons is week commencing 7th October 2024.
